Memory Love

Welcome to Memory Love. This Privacy Policy explains how Hai Phan ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the Memory Love iOS application. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account

• Email address and password (when you sign up with email)
• Full name and Apple-issued user identifier (when you use Sign in with Apple)

Content You Create

• Photos you upload as memories
• Captions, mood emojis, and milestone tags you attach to memories
• Emoji reactions and comments you leave on shared memories
• Timestamps and metadata associated with memories

Device & Usage

• Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers
• App usage events (screens visited, features used) via Firebase Analytics
• Crash reports and diagnostic data via Firebase Crashlytics
• Push notification tokens via Firebase Cloud Messaging

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account and shared memory space
• To display memories between you and your partner
• To send push notifications about new memories and reactions
• To diagnose crashes and improve app stability
• To analyse aggregate usage patterns and improve features
• To comply with legal obligations

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure (Firestore, Storage, Authentication) hosted in secure Google data centres. Photos are stored in Firebase Storage and accessible only to authenticated users in the same couple relationship. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

Authentication tokens are stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Firebase (Google LLC) — Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, Cloud Messaging  Privacy Policy

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your memories are shared only with the partner you are connected with inside the app. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

6. Device Permissions

Camera — Memory Love requests camera access solely to let you capture photos for your shared memories. We do not access the camera in the background or for any other purpose.

7. Data Retention & Account Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the app's Profile screen. Upon deletion, all your account data, memories, and photos are permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Memory Love is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (see Section 7)
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities
• Data portability where technically feasible

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
